Support Team Office Time
This policy sets out the working-time conventions for the Support Team at TechAbout. It covers the three operating shifts, the weekly working schedule, standup timing, and the rules that apply to flexible entry, late arrivals, and early departures. All timings and thresholds below must be observed exactly.
Working Hours
The Support Team operates across three shifts:

Working Days
- Weekly: 6 days.
- Weekend: 1 day (decided by the Team Lead).
Standup Meetings
- 8:30 AM (for Shift 1).
Conventions
Flexible Entry Times
To allow for any emergencies on the road, the following flexible entry times apply:

Late Arrival
If you enter the office after 10:00 AM (Shift 1) or 2:00 PM (Shift 2), the following applies:
- You must give a proper explanation for being late to the HR department, with your supervisor's acknowledgment. If your supervisor grants the late arrival, it will no longer be counted as a late arrival for that day.
- However, if this kind of late arrival happens more than 3 times, you must adjust these on your weekly off days.
- If your weekly adjustments cross 4 weekends, you will be eliminated from that increment cycle.
If you arrive after 11:00 AM, that day will be counted as casual leave (except where your office time is different).
Early Departure
If you leave the office before 4:00 PM (Shift 1) or 8:00 PM (Shift 2), the following applies:
- You must give a proper explanation for the early departure and seek permission from the HR department, with your supervisor's acknowledgment.
- If both your supervisor and HR grant the early departure, it will no longer be counted as an early departure.
- However, if this kind of early departure happens more than 3 times, you must adjust these on your weekly off days.
- If your weekly adjustments cross 4 weekends, you will not receive that increment cycle.
