Remote Work Policy

Remote work may be allowed where the role, project, security needs, client commitments, and team coordination make it practical. Remote work is not automatic unless it is part of the employee's written role, shift, or management-approved arrangement.

Approval

  • Employees should request remote work from their supervisor and HR in advance, except in emergencies.
  • Management may approve full-day, partial-day, temporary, emergency, or role-based remote work.
  • Approval may be changed or withdrawn if performance, availability, security, or coordination is affected.

Availability and Work Output

  • Remote employees must be reachable during approved working hours through company-approved communication channels.
  • Meetings, standups, client commitments, daily tasks, timesheets, and reports remain mandatory unless management approves an exception.
  • Remote work is measured by availability, task completion, quality, response time, and documented output.

Security Requirements

  • Use company-approved accounts, devices, VPNs, password managers, and two-factor authentication where assigned.
  • Do not use shared/public computers for company work unless management explicitly approves a secure exception.
  • Company files should remain in approved company systems, not personal drives or personal messaging accounts.
  • Report lost devices, suspicious login activity, malware, or accidental data sharing immediately.

Attendance and Expenses

  • Remote attendance must be marked through the approved attendance or reporting process.
  • Internet, electricity, phone, travel, or equipment reimbursements apply only where management approves them in advance.
  • Employees may be asked to attend the office for meetings, onboarding, training, reviews, device checks, or client needs.
