Employee Handbook & HR Policies
The policies, benefits, conduct rules, leave conventions, and employment practices that apply to TechAbout employees.
Visitors & Office Access
This policy controls who may enter TechAbout offices. It protects our people, our clients' information, and our equipment, and supports the confidentiality commitments in the Data Security, Devices & Passwords policy.
Rules
- Visitors are allowed only with prior management approval. Tell your manager or the Admin team before your visitor arrives.
- Every visitor signs in at reception with their name, purpose, host, and time in and out.
- The host receives the visitor at reception and accompanies them for the entire visit.
- Meetings with visitors happen in meeting areas — not at employee workstations where client work is visible.
- Couriers and deliveries are received at reception; they do not enter work areas.
- Personal visitors should be rare, brief, and during breaks.
- Interview candidates are received and escorted by the Admin team.
- Outside normal office hours, visitors require the CEO's or a department head's explicit approval.
Security
If you see an unescorted or unexpected person in the office, ask who they are visiting and inform Admin immediately. Report security concerns under the Grievance & Complaint Escalation process or directly to management.
