Employee Handbook & HR Policies
The policies, benefits, conduct rules, leave conventions, and employment practices that apply to TechAbout employees.
Dress Code
This policy sets the dress standard for TechAbout offices. A professional appearance keeps the workplace comfortable for colleagues and presentable to clients, while staying practical for full-day work.
Standard
Our default is smart casual: clean, neat, and professional. Western and traditional attire (including shalwar kameez) are equally welcome.
Guidelines
- Clothing should be clean, in good repair, and appropriate for a professional office.
- Acceptable examples: collared shirts, polos, blouses, sweaters, trousers, chinos, neat jeans, shalwar kameez, and closed or clean casual footwear.
- Not acceptable: sleepwear, shorts, beachwear, clothing with offensive images or slogans, heavily ripped clothing, and flip-flops.
- For client meetings, interviews, and official events, dress business formal unless management advises otherwise.
- On video calls with clients, the same client-facing standard applies.
Enforcement
Managers may ask an employee to correct their dress for the day. Repeated issues are handled through HR under the Code of Conduct.
