About the role

TechAbout is a Pakistani product company. We build and run our own internet properties — TECHi.com, BlogReach.com, Travel.pk, PKHosting.com, WPArena.com, TechEngage.com, HealthArena.com, aiTransform.com and Corner.pk — alongside client work. We are hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to turn our data into features people actually use.

What you will work on

• Work on the AI screening that reads incoming CVs, and on the scoring that helps HR rank thousands of applicants fairly.
• Build on aiTransform.com, our AI tooling product.
• Improve the Reach Authority metric behind BlogReach — the signal model that scores publisher sites.
• Measure whether a model is better than the rule it replaced, and say so plainly when it is not.

What we are looking for

• Python with pandas, scikit-learn and at least one deep-learning framework.
• The judgement to know when a simple heuristic beats a model.
• Ability to evaluate honestly: leakage, baselines, and where the training data came from.
• Willingness to ship something small that works over something large that demos.

How we hire

Online-first. Most candidates complete an application review, an email screening, a practical assessment on one of our real products, and a video interview — all remotely. We only ask you to come in when the role genuinely needs it. You will be told which stage you are at and what happens next at every step.
