Junior Data Scientist
About the role
TechAbout is a Pakistani product company. We build and run our own internet properties — TECHi.com, BlogReach.com, Travel.pk, PKHosting.com, WPArena.com, TechEngage.com, HealthArena.com, aiTransform.com and Corner.pk — alongside client work. We are hiring a Junior Data Scientist to learn to do rigorous analysis on real products, with support.
Employment: Part-time · Location: TechAbout International Remote
What you will work on
- Support analysis across our properties, starting with well-scoped questions.
- Clean and reconcile data, which is most of the job and where most errors hide.
- Reproduce and check other people's findings before they go out.
- Grow into owning a question end to end.
What we are looking for
- Python and SQL basics, and genuine curiosity.
- A project you can talk through, from a course or your own time.
- Willingness to ask when stuck rather than guess quietly.
- Attention to detail, because a wrong number is worse than no number.
How we hire
Online-first. Most candidates complete an application review, an email screening, a practical assessment on one of our real products, and a video interview — all remotely. We only ask you to come in when the role genuinely needs it. You will be told which stage you are at and what happens next at every step.
