Software Engineer
About the role
TechAbout is a Pakistani product company. We build and run our own internet properties — TECHi.com, BlogReach.com, Travel.pk, PKHosting.com, WPArena.com, TechEngage.com, HealthArena.com, aiTransform.com and Corner.pk — alongside client work. We are hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain the systems our company actually runs on.
Employment: Full-time · Location: TechAbout HQ - DHA Lahore
What you will work on
- Work on the Frappe/Python platform behind our HR, payroll and product systems.
- Ship features across our web properties and fix what breaks.
- Write code that the next person can read, with the reasoning left in comments.
- Take a problem from a vague description to something deployed and verified.
What we are looking for
- Solid Python or PHP, and SQL.
- Experience with a real web framework and version control.
- Ability to debug from a stack trace to a root cause.
- Care about the person who maintains it after you.
How we hire
