About the role
TechAbout is a Pakistani product company. We build and run our own internet properties — TECHi.com, BlogReach.com, Travel.pk, PKHosting.com, WPArena.com, TechEngage.com, HealthArena.com, aiTransform.com and Corner.pk — alongside client work. We are hiring a WordPress Developer to own the WordPress properties that carry a large part of our audience.
Employment: Full-time · Location: TechAbout HQ - DHA Lahore
What you will work on
- Maintain and improve WPArena.com, TechEngage.com and related sites.
- Build custom themes and plugins, and remove the plugins we do not need.
- Fix Core Web Vitals, caching and image handling on high-traffic content sites.
- Handle migrations, staging and safe deployment without downtime.
What we are looking for
- Deep WordPress knowledge: hooks, the loop, custom post types, WP-CLI.
- PHP and MySQL to a professional standard.
- Practical SEO understanding — these sites live on search traffic.
- Security discipline: WordPress is the most attacked platform on the web.
