DevOps Engineer

About the role

TechAbout is a Pakistani product company. We build and run our own internet properties — TECHi.com, BlogReach.com, Travel.pk, PKHosting.com, WPArena.com, TechEngage.com, HealthArena.com, aiTransform.com and Corner.pk — alongside client work. We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to make deployments boring and outages short.

Employment: Full-time  ·  Location: TechAbout HQ - DHA Lahore

What you will work on

• Own deployment for our Frappe/ERPNext platform and the Next.js front ends, including rollbacks that work under pressure.
• Build monitoring that pages a human before a customer emails one.
• Automate the manual steps in our release process and remove the ones nobody can justify.
• Harden the servers: patching, least-privilege access, secrets kept out of code.

What we are looking for

• Linux, containers and CI/CD you have run in production, not only in a tutorial.
• Comfort with nginx, systemd, cron and reading logs to a conclusion.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• A bias for fixing the cause rather than restarting the symptom.

How we hire

Online-first. Most candidates complete an application review, an email screening, a practical assessment on one of our real products, and a video interview — all remotely.
